A Quick Guide to Referencing

Referencing is important in nearly every GCSE and A-Level subject and is required by every single exam board for nearly every single type of qualification. You always put your references at the end of your report and you can use the footnotes tool in your word processing software to put your references in.

TutorEagle recommend Harvard referencing, as most exam boards prefer these methods. We also don’t recommend using online referencing tools as they don’t always get the reference right!

Also, remember never to copy things word for word unless you put them in quotes – this could be plagiarism!
